The ceremony
Like in the movies: processional, readings (with witnesses and family members), gospel, sermon, vows and ring exchange, marriage blessing, common prayer, closing blessing, recessional. The ceremony lasts between 27 and 33 minutes.

The foundation of marriage is a promise you make to each other. The pastor's role is to help you live this promise — to make this moment one you can return to whenever you need to draw strength from it.
Our interdenominational ecumenical wedding ceremony is available to everyone, anywhere. If you'd like to combine it with the civil ceremony, we can arrange that too. Bilingual ceremonies (English-Hungarian, German-Hungarian) are also possible.
The venue
Any venue is suitable for the wedding ceremony where we can retreat from the noise of the city. Castle park, lakeside, chapel, garden, lecture hall, terrace, hotel courtyard, forest clearing,… what did we miss?
Ecumenical ceremony
According to Christian dogmatics, marriage comes into being through the promise made to one another. The priesthood is the witness to this. Marriage itself is a universal sacrament.
Pre-wedding preparation
"God is love. Whoever lives in this divine love truly lives in God, and God lives in them."
Pre-wedding preparation practically aims to ready you for the divine sacrament received in marriage. According to modern religious understanding, humans are constantly in connection with God, and everyone is guided by the Holy Spirit on the path of love, like a compass. We believe that ethically healthy adults are capable of living the creative love without instruction from a religious figure.
The topics of the preparation are determined by the key question of the wedding ceremony: "Have you come of your own free will to enter into marriage with this person?"
This question opens up like a prism into 5 themes: emotional freedom and free state, decision, self-knowledge and adult relationships, and the concept of marriage itself. Lots of laughter, sometimes a bit of emotion — but always an exciting journey. Minimum 2 sessions.

Gospel Wedding
Imagine your wedding from the most romantic movies! The gospel choir sings your favorite song live as you walk down the aisle. After the rings and vows, another song lifts the spirit higher. As you walk out, even your guests sing along with the choir.
Where can you have a Gospel Wedding?
At any of the venues, or even at the wedding location you choose. It can also be combined with the civil registrar's ceremony!

The wedding chapel can accommodate up to 100 guests, and its design is ideal for weddings. At the end of the rows of pews stands the altar table; to its right sits the couple, facing the guests, with the witnesses behind them. On the left, the pastor and witnesses read the scripture passages. For the wedding vows, you stand at the center in front of the altar table, facing each other to speak the promise.
On request, we are happy to welcome the civil registrar so the civil marriage can also take place. Before or after the ceremony, there is space in front of the chapel to celebrate with your guests.
